The Notom area was originally settled in 1883 and, at its largest population, was once inhabited by 23 families.  Today Notom is the jumping off point for exploration of the eastern edge of Capitol Reef National Park and is home to the Sunlit Oasis.

Located on one of Wayne County’s oldest working ranches with live buffalo. Open all year. Each room has local western theme, king size beds, full baths (3 w/Jacuzzi tubs, entrances inside and from outside balconies, TV, 1 room available with extra bunk beds and kitchen for families and is also handicapped accessible. Includes a hardy breakfast. All meals can be arranged for extended stays. All rooms non-smoking. Rates start at $75.00 per room for 2 people.
